We are committed to understanding you and your issues or goals before making a diagnosis. We take care to explain everything so that you are comfortable. Then we work gently, listening to how your body responds at all times. We respect your body's intelligence and work with rather than on it by addressing causes rather than just symptoms. This means we get faster and longer lasting results. We know our limits well and are happy to say when we don’t think osteopathy is the best approach to help you, and refer to someone better suited if we can. In more systemic conditions, osteopathy can work well in combination with other therapies like nutrition, homeopathy, psychotherapy and acupuncture. In that case, we can help you find clarity on what your body needs.
Maor 'Mau' Netsah, M.Ost, DO, CO, ITEC“I started with a diploma in sports massage, then a 4-year masters degree from the European School of Osteopathy in England, and a second certificate in advanced osteopathy from Witten/Herdecke University in Germany. There, I assisted my mentor, Dr JM Beuckels, for 5 years teaching osteopathy to medical doctors. My mum was an acupuncturist, my first and best teacher, so I like integrating aspects of Chinese medicine. Also, my partner Julie practices reflexology and energetic healing so I learn some useful things from her too.Since 2012 I’ve worked with people of all ages and backgrounds from health centres in England, including a specialised mother-and-baby clinic, and wellness resorts in the Caribbean and India. Then I moved to France, teaching at an osteopathy school in Lyon and serving an island community in Brittany. After getting sick of the cold and damp, our Mexican neighbour suggested moving to Oaxaca! Our son was born here and we appreciate the art, culture, and kindness of people. Aside from studying health, I love being a dad, learning flamenco guitar and chocolate things!”

In the first session we allow enough time to understand your body and do as much as possible in one go. Depending on what’s going on, that may be between 1hour – 1hour 30mins.Most problems get better in 3 sessions or less. If it’s something chronic that has been there for a long long time, then it may need more time to get better, of course. Sessions are usually at least 1-2 weeks apart because we work deeply in the body.I’m very careful and do my best to explain what is going on, and any questions you have. I respect your privacy and keep confidentiality. The treatment and exercises can involve stretching, working on muscles and joints and also the whole body using gentle movements and manipulations to relax the nervous system, organs and diaphragm - helping you breathe and move pain-free asap!I will explain everything and I never use violent manipulations or forceful “cracking” of joints. I try to be as gentle as possible, with the minimum force needed to be effective. Sometimes it can be uncomfortable working into tight muscles/joints, but i always respect your limits of comfort. Results can be felt immediately, although the effects of the treatment continue after the session. Depending on the complexity of the problem, it may take some time for your body to continue the work and heal itself completely. If you like, I'll also show you some gentle movement exercises so that you can take care of yourself.
From Google Maps:“Maor’s calm presence and touch brings about deep and gentle healing. He evaluates the whole body systematically to identify and correct misalignments. If you’re looking for a patient and attentive healer, I highly recommend him.”“Maor works super intuitively and has wonderful hands. His treatments are incredibly deep and potent. I really recommend experiencing them!““Maor is in my top 3 of the best osteopaths I’ve seen in my life. He takes time to listen to your needs, explains well what he’s going to do. Maor “listened” to my nervous system respond during al the session, as I told him that I was a very sensitive and reactive person. His approach is very gentle, respectful and very efficient. After the session, I could definitely feel more openness, more movement in my torso, lung and back. I felt at peace and very calm.““Maor’s practice of osteopathy aims at achieving a resolution of your issue, rather than an approach based in maintaining the body with its issues. Clinical results and symptom improvement are expected quickly and longterm with Maor’s approach. Plus, he is such a lovely, gentle, astute and intelligent man.”“The therapies I received were well adapted to what I needed, adjusting the balance of my hips and back, relaxing my neck, and digestive tension. His method of treating this is delicate, small powerful movements, respecting the body.“

Would you like to learn beautiful effective practices for self healing and development? We invite you to discover your inner power through the ancient arts of meditation in movement…

Qigong simply feels great! It is a deeply relaxing way towards wellbeing as well as fitness. If you are looking for enjoyable exercise that is respectful to the body, you can expect to improve your:
Awareness of body alignment, posture and balance
Flexibility and joint mobility
Breathing – easier and deeper
Healing and immune system function
Sense of inner stillness and strength
Perception of energy in the natural world
Connection to your unconscious intelligence
As a side-effect, many common aches, pains, discomforts disappear as we learn the tools to take better care of our vehicles.
Qi (energy) + Gong (cultivation) – also spelt Chi Gong or Chi Kung is a practice to develop your healing and artistic potential. It has been practiced for thousands of years in 3 main branches:
Medical – as a complete system of specific exercises to support every organ and body system and improve longevity.
Martial Arts – as a way of developing whole-body strength and sensitivity.
Spiritual – as an awakening to the perceptual experience of being alive.
It is the embodiment of Daoist philosophy and the foundation of Traditional Chinese Medicine, meaning to flow in greater harmony with Life. Nothing fancy – just by being more present, healthy and connected with our body’s wisdom.

Approaches we explore include:
Golden Ball’ / Zhan Zhuang – standing meditation to relax tension and strengthen the aura
The 8 Brocades / Ba Duan Jin – a simple series of movements for the organ meridian systems
Hua Gong Healing Forms – stimulating the circulation of blood and subtle energy to transform physical and emotional blockages
5 Animal Play / Wu Xin Qi – the origins of qigong are in prehistoric tribal shamanic animal dances and in this 1700 year old version, we connect with the natural qualities of tiger, deer, monkey, bear and bird
Silk-reeling / Chan Si Gong – a modern exercise from Tai Chi to train whole-body coordination
Still-point Meditation – seated practice with and without hand mudras to be centered in Life
and more ;)…
Maor ‘Mau’ NetsahTai Chi & Qigong have been part of my life since my mum, a Chinese medicine practitioner dragged me along to classes as a kid. They also helped my dad in his cancer healing journey. I teach them with a healthy dose of fun as ways to take care of ourselves and expand our senses of perception.I’ve been lucky to have many wonderful teachers in various branches of the ‘Qigong tree’:
Daoist Water Style Qigong with Simon Carrie-Morgan (a direct student of B. K. Frantzis)
Yang Style Tai Chi and many Qigong forms with Lynn Gordon
Chen Style Taijichuan with Andrea Kocache, and Grandmaster Wang Hai Jun (3x National Champion of China)
Hua Gong Style Qigong with Master Zhixing Wang and Daverick Leggett, Brad Richecouer, Loz Speyer
Zhineng Qigong with my dad
At various moments and places, I’ve taught years of regular weekly classes, workshops for adults and children at festivals, and visits at retreat centers; I enjoy adapting to different ages, abilities and cultures!I’m not a ‘Master’, so don’t expect me to tell you off if you don’t practice or speak in Lao Tze quotes! I do it because I enjoy it, and am grateful for this marvelous tool to pick me up when I break down!

“Tai Chi, with its gentle stretching, relaxation and teaching of good posture has helped greatly in overcoming the neck/shoulder problem I had. I will keep it up! Thank you.”“You have built a special class here based on your personality and skill and we have benefitted both health wise and, not least, socially”“Thanks for your sensitive approach and wry humour as well as your skills as a teacher““We appreciate your more relaxed approach to workouts!”“Surprisingly fun! I love the flow of it and the quietness I feel afterwards”
